Contents Page Layout Changes
Here you can see I made changes to the layout of the page. I decided to put the features at the top of the page so that it grabs the attention of the audience quicker. I placed the main image higher and I also decided to put the editors note at the bottom of the page. I decided to put a coloured box behind it which is the same shape as the red coloured shape behind the main text. This creates cohesian and also adds more colour to the page.

Front Cover Before and After
Here is the before and after of my magazine front cover.
BEFORE
AFTER
As you can see there is a distinct difference between both magazine front covers. The new version of the magazine looks much more cleaner, brighter and more related to my target audience. My front cover represents a hybrid of a young pop magazine and a more contemporary one. This was done through using conventions from 'Top of The Pops Magazine' as well as 'Billboard' as shown below:
I used the fonts from the pop magazine; it looks slim, neat and clean. I also decided to position the name of the featured artist on the left side in a bold font. The coverlines were also influenced by this magazine as they are in a similar font and are black.
I used the idea of the rectangle on the top of the page to feautre things that are inside the magazine. I also used the idea of positioning the image of the makeup at the top right. The image of the artist shows the model with a more cheerful approach as well as the pose being a fun and energetic one. I used the idea of the plugs being in a different colour box to make it stand out more to the audience.
